My Role: UX research, user personas, competitive analysis, visual design, wireframing, and prototyping
Problem Statement
It is difficult to capture Friend Nursery School’s (FNS) philosophy, including its emergent curriculum, using the natural world as inspiration, and promoting brain-building, creativity, and innovation through play in an online, easy-to-navigate format.
There is a need for a platform to communicate its unique play-based model to prospective families and provide clear, easy-to-find information to parents to attract new students from its website and boost enrollment.

I interviewed current FNS families to understand their frustrations and motivations while searching for preschools for their child. My goal was to understand the role of a school’s online presence in that process.

Prototype Highlight 01 - Homepage
Homepage highlights the information most important to parents: scheduling a tour, classes, and admissions & tuition.
Prototype Highlight 02 - Classes
Each age has its own page that includes times, cost of attendance, daily schedule, and photos. Users can find each page directly from the landing page.
Prototype Highlight 03 - Admissions & Cost
Page clearly shows information for families, where to apply for admission, and tuition for each class.
